http://www.Americanveteransfirst.netOur Mission Statement: American Veterans First was established as a 501(c)(3) in order to help veterans & first responders heal, one step at a time. We intend to accomplish this in several ways; by providing mentoring, a safe haven free from alcohol, drugs & tobacco, transportation to Veterans Service Office for benefit appointments, assistance in acquiring food, housing, employment, and other needs. A.V.F. is an organization where all veterans & first responders have and equal voice, free from peer pressure & judgement, where they can meet, hang out, & talk with other veterans & first responders to work through issues such as PTSD, adjusting to civilian life, & other issues that only they face. A.V.F. supports active duty military by sending care packages, information, & support for those proudly serving our country. We also support our community, doing presentations in schools, visiting care homes, working with government on veteran related issues. A.V.F. strives to follow military protocol, by holding traditional ceremonies such as flag retirement honoring fallen veterans & all those who honorably served
