Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is partnering with Just Porch It to host a cleanup and clothing drop-off event in the area of Manchester Center on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event will focus on cleaning the area along the Blackstone Corridor, as well as provide an opportunity for volunteers to drop off used, unwanted clothing items, including underwear and socks.
Volunteers are asked to meet in the Manchester Center parking lot near the corner of Blackstone and Shields no later than 9:45 a.m. to check in and for a brief orientation.
All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/Clean. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water. |
