Discovery Center Beautification Project
Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is partnering with the Fresno Discovery Center to host a beautification and cleanup event on Saturday, February 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Center's main location on Winery Ave.
This event will concentrate on relocating plants from the side of the historic winery, weeding the Deutsch Cactus Garden, and picking up litter in the area around Winery between McKinley and Clinton Avenues..
Volunteers are asked to meet in the Discovery Center parking lot off of Winery Ave. no later than 9:45 a.m. to check in and receive instructions.
All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/Discovery. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
Beautify Fresno will provide all landscaping equipment, trash bags, paper pickers, vests, and gloves.
