COVID-19 Volunteer Updates

HandsOn Central California is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving circumstances surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact for the Central Valley Our top priority is the health and safety of our community. In response to CDC recommendations, HandsOn is cancelling all HandsOn managed volunteer projects and programming for the time being. Updates will be coming soon as they are availiable. This includes, but is not limited to nonprofit trainings, presentations to groups, and civic convenings.

We will continue to support Court Ordered Community Service clients and partners through remote access.

We will continue to support RSVP and AmeriCorps VISTA and VIP projects and members via remote access/tele-service strategies.

We will continue to support projects led by our partner organizations who rely on volunteers to deliver essential services during this time, and who can post these special volunteer needs on our website.

Through regular communication with our partners and continued collection of the latest data and information, we will consider extending the suspension period if needed.

As the volunteer hub for the Central Valley region we will continue to support projects led by our partner organizations who rely on volunteers to deliver essential services during this time, and who can post these special volunteer needs on our website.
