Content Creator Volunteer

Love serving children in our local community and have a passion creating amazing content for social media? Then you are in the right place. Our organization is seeking a videographer / content creator volunteer to help film and produce social media content for our organization and our programs. . This role is perfect for a college student, young videographer, or content creator who wants real-world experience. You will work closely with the executive staff to help shoot short videos, create social media content, and assist with posting across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
As a Content Creator and a Video Content Creator at Boys 2 MEN Girls 2 Women, you’ll be able to assist our graphic designer and marketing team and produce, and use multiple platforms such as PowerPoint and AI video content that tells our story, promotes our services, and reach the community we serve as well as re-creating outdated training material. There is more than one way to tell a story, and we are looking for a Video Content Creator who can take one video and create many different stories from that video. You are a storyteller, with a passion for sharing and/or creating these stories through video.
- Understand the impact video content makes with our audience. You take as much pride in a 30-minute documentary as you do in a short 30-second mobile promotion, be creative.
- Be creative and able to work with subject matter experts to turn ideas into compelling scripts that are shared through video
- Provide feedback to Executive staff on project timelines, potential challenges, and suggestions and ideas to take a project idea from concept to completion
- Use a variety of technical skills and different types of software to complete production.
- Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Work in a team environment, from a wide variety of departments, including corporate communications, marketing, design, and social media
- Will need to have experience with AI software, we would love to have you share your skills and create educational and marketing content about our organization.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint Presentation and converting to video

If you have this experience and would like to assist our organization, please contact us to schedule a 2-hour orientation interview. Applications will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am-12pm. Applicants must be available for 2 hours when turning in the application. Orientation and interview will be conducted on the same day. Adult applicants will also be required to undergo fingerprints the same day (off-site) which has a $30 fee (Minors will not have to undergo a background check).
