Election Set-Up/Take-Down Volunteer
Election Set-Up/Take-Down Volunteers will report to and receive assignments from a Fresno County Elections Staff Supervisor. This on-call assignment requires the ability to lift and move things, and do light assembly. Duties may include: • Serve as a member of a team to meet at specific Vote Center(s) to help set up and take down booths, tables, and election equipment Volunteers are expected: • Be interviewed by the volunteer coordinator • Agree to work specific hours and locations • Present themselves in professional manner at all times • Wear a mask at all times to prevent the spread of Covid-19 • Check-in upon arrival with your assigned supervisor • Wear a name badge while on duty • If a volunteer cannot work their scheduled time, they must immediately contact the coordinator in advance to allow for rescheduling or replacement *A questionnaire will be emailed prior to volunteering Dates and Times Needed; On call for week of October 26, 2020 for set up at specific Vote Center(s) Election night, November 3, 2020 for take down of equipment at approximately 8:30 pm (Each set-up and take-down lasts approximately 2 hours) Locations: 53 separate Vote Centers scattered throughout Fresno County: Fresno, Clovis, Sanger, Coalinga, Firebaugh, Fowler, Huron, Kerman, Kingsburg, Mendota, Orange Cove, Parlier, Pinedale, Reedley, Riverdale, San Joaquin, Selma, Squaw Valley, and Tollhouse If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, contact Pam at email@example.com
