Spanish Writing Interpreter Volunteer
Boys 2 Men Girls 2 Women geographical area has a high number of hispanic population and is in need of Spanish speaking and writing volunteers. As a Spanish Writing Interpreter Volunteer you will Interpret written and spoken material into Spanish, ensures meaning and context are maintained, creates glossaries or term dictionaries, possesses knowledge of multiple languages, works with individual clients and corporations. You will be translating english litature into spanish.
Translator Job Duties
- Reads through or listens to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and translates or converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning
- Translates online, video, and television media by providing subtitles in Spanish.
- Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately in Spanish
- Refers to online translation tools for additional assistance with translation
- Follows up with Spanish speaking clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding
- Adheres to industry quality standards established by the Association of Translation Companies to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations
- Translates a variety of documents including literary, educational, and commercial materials into Spanish.
- Be able to convert all our ciriculium, documents and written material from English to Spanish.
- Create AI Videos from English to Spanish
If you have this experience and would like to apply to perform your skillset to assist our organization, you will need to attend our 2 hour orientation interview. Applications will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am. Applicants must be available for 2 hours when turning in the application, for orientation and interview on the same day. Adult applicants will also be required to undergo fingerprints the same day (off-site) which is a $30 fee. (Minors will not have to undergo a background check).
