Job Summary
We are looking for interns seeking to support, care, listen, and learn to prevent elder abuse by providing services. We are expecting interns to be responsible with their duties and be respectful towards all elders.
Responsibilities
Attend EASI meetings and committee meetings
Volunteer in a senior center and assisted living center
Attend elder abuse court
Properly shadow long term care ombudsman's or adult protective service agents
Actively participate with elders
Inform proper supervisors of unusual incidents
Requirements
Completion of 20 Hour Training
Flexible schedule and accountable for hours
Strong Ethics
Be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
Excellent communication and formal language
Completion of EASI application and other confidentiality forms.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
