Development Assistant (Fundraising)

The Development Assistant is assistant to the Director of Development.  The development assistant is responsible to assist the Director of Development in coordination of the organization’s fundraising efforts. They might develop a fundraising plan, secure financial support, run special events for donors, and run other projects to ensure the organization meets its annual goals. The Development Assistant will also assist with the donor database, acquisition of donations from corporate businesses, and private donors. 

This position requires a person who is outgoing, and possesses social and communicative skill to promotes the mission of the nonprofit among the local community. Other duties would be to assist in organizing fundraising events, recruit volunteers, or arrange other projects to get the community excited about and invested in the organization.
