Hospice Patient Companion - Information Session to Become a Volunteer

Come learn more about our opportunities at this information session. This will be an hour long information session designed to provide you information on our volunteer program and how you can impact and make a difference for our patients who are on hospice. Optimal Hospice - Fresno is seeking caring individuals to join our volunteer team! As a companionship volunteer, you will bring your skills and talents to enrich the lives of patients currently facing a terminal illness on hospice. We believe that when we can no longer add days to life, volunteers can add life to days. We ask for a 6 month commitment with at least 2 patient visits per month. Companionship volunteers will:
We will work with your schedule! Optimal Hospice will work with your schedule to ensure volunteering is something to enjoy. The patients you see will be located at a home, assisted living and/or skilled nursing facility that is convenient for you to visit in Fresno and Madera County. All volunteers are non-medical and do not provide direct patient care. |
