Make A Difference Day

Behind the ideas and efforts toward building a better world,  volunteers fuel a movement of compassion and connection. Each year in October  this  movement engages our community and our nation in service on National Make A Difference Day. This National day of service is the larges of its kind, annually over 3 million American work together to complete community based projects through volunteer efforts. These projects have the combined goal of uniting our community as neighbors and beautifying the places we live and work.

This year HandsOn Central California, in partnership with the City of Fresno and sponsored by Heald College, held a Community Revitalization project in the Lowell Neighborhood in Southwest Fresno. This neighborhood is the gateway to our downtown, filled with historic homes and Fresno landmarks. It is Fresno's vision that this community thrive!
