Hope For The Holidays

HandsOn Central California and a committee of community partners join forces to bring HOPE to homeless families during the holiday season. Hope for the Holidays  is an annual holiday celebration for homeless children and their families in our community. Each year over 150 volunteers transform the Fresno Convention Center Exhibit Hall into a lavish Winter Wonderland, adorned with all the holiday cheer. Homeless families enjoy a day of festivities including a beautiful holiday meal, live entertainment, goodies and gifts and an exciting finally as Santa Clause is paraded in, to give gifts to all the girls and boys. Hope for the Holidays is hosted by the Hope for the Holidays Committee: City of Fresno, FUSD Project Access, Clinica Sierra Vista, I.R.S., Marjaree Mason Center, Reach Out and Read, The Girl Scouts, and The Junior League of Fresno.
