DOVIA

DOVIA is a group dedicated to the building of networks between volunteer agencies in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced, and Tulare counties. It is the goal of DOVIA to create and strengthen networking ties between HandsOn Central California and various other non-profit agencies in five counties. The meetings for DOVIA will take place once a quarter. Each meeting will cover a different topic related to volunteers or non-profits in general.

DOVIA is a professional organization dedicated to:

To promoting opportunities to develop and enhance professional skills for volunteer managers
To increase networking opportunities among organizations involved in the recruitment, recognition and retention of volunteers
To promote the professional status of volunteer managers in the community
